Position: Winter MusicalSound Designer

Location: Ellensburg High School

Reports to: Producer and ASB Coordinator

Contract Amount: $1000.00

Job Summary: Oversees all aspects below and seeks out additional expertise or support as needed. Reports directly to Producer/ Head Coach. Work closely with educate and supervise all student crew in this area. Work closely with and supervise all parent and community volunteers in this area

Essential Job Functions:

• Design and prepare all sound elements of the show
• Plan microphone/sound equipment system usage including Mic plot
• Work closely with educate and supervise all student crew in this area
• Arrange for necessary equipment
• Setup all hardware and cabling needed for show
• Run sound board for show
• Maintain accurate accounts of spending according to budget
• Reports directly to Producer/ Head Coach
• Attend strike; restore sound to standardized pre-set

Minimum Requirements:

• Must qualify to work in the proximity of children under the conditions of a WSP/FBI background check.
• Applicant is responsible for cost of fingerprints
