Greentech Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking a qualified candidate for an Accounting Assistant. 

Greentech Manufacturing, Inc. manufactures Crown Royal Stoves, a line of outdoor furnaces and automated biomass boilers that are used to heat homes and businesses. We also provide a full line of plumbing and heating products.

The accounting assistant will play a supporting role in Greentech’s accounting and financial department, helping to track expenses, revenues, and other financial activities. 

Accounting Assistant Job Duties:

• Recording Financial Transactions 

• Data Entry 

• Invoicing 

• Bank Reconciliation

• Financial Reporting

• Payroll 

• HR related tasks 

• Maintaining Financial Records

• Preparing Purchase Orders

• Preparing a trial balance for accountants

• Preparing financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing accounting for information

• Resolving Accounting Discrepancies

• Managing product builds and account reconciliations

• Manage Accounts Payable and Receivable 

• Create and Maintain Product Costing Spreadsheets

• Ability to understand and review financial statements

• Regularly review payable and receivable reports for accuracy

• Assist in the finance department

• Proficient written & verbal communication 

• Administrative Support: answering phones, filing, preparing correspondence, ordering office supplies, and assisting office staff when necessary.

• Customer and Vendor Interactions 

• Other miscellaneous jobs assigned

Required Skills:Accounting experience in a manufacturing environments; Experience working in a fast paced environment; Payroll knowledge; Strong mathematical and analytical skills; Excellent computer skills; Knowledge of bookkeeping and spreadsheet programs; Attention to detail; Organizational skills; Strong written and verbal communication skills; Ability to work well with and help others as needed; Proficiency in accounting software, excel, and some IT skills; Time management and multi-tasking skills; Must be able to maintain confidentiality; Must be deadline oriented. 

Education: Preferred bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field. Proven work experience as an accounting assistant. A minimum of 12 months’ previous experience.

Hours for this position are Monday – Friday 8 A.M. to 5 P.M. Salary based on experience.
