The mission of an Android Developer
Together with the other team members develop and ship amazing software solutions that bring value for our customers and to ensure we provide a stable, secure and scalable product and services for today and for the future.

Drive towards our mission of making cities more livable by empowering yourself and the team to succeed using the latest Android technologies and proven methods
Together with the rest of the team plan and deliver features and technical enhancements according to the team mission and overarching goals of the company
Effectively use and make improvements to the automated testing strategies to accelerate delivery and quality of product features
Provide ongoing maintenance, support and enhancements
Challenge product decisions to be accountable for value and drive innovation
Take responsibility for the overall efforts, goals and quality as part of a prestigeless team
Work as a team to elevate technology and apply best practices
Help continuously improve the agile ways of working within the team and the Android chapter
Who you are
You have a strong technical background and quality focus
You embrace empowered teams, taking collective ownership of the code and be ready to provide ideas to improve your domain
You have strong experience with Agile development practices, showing your team skills to iterate ways of working
You make evidence based decisions, using data insights to support product growth
You are curious about the world of technology around you
Specific experience
At least five years of in depth working knowledge of software development
Excellent understanding of Kotlin and Java
Experience working within a highly collaborative team environment
Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android
Experience with Async libraries (RxJava or Coroutines)
Development with RESTful APIs
Good experience with unit testing
Experience of source control software ideally GIT
Experience with Jetpack Compose
Nice to haves
Experience with Hilt and Kotlin Flow
Good understanding of release cycle and familiarity with CI/CD platform and pipelines
Familiarity with UI testing
Familiarity with NodeJS would be a plus
