Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Android Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mobile applications and a strong understanding of the Android platform. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications that enhance user experience. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features while ensuring optimal performance and responsiveness of applications.
Required qualifications:
5+ years of professional experience developing native Android applications
Experience building high-performance, dynamic UI with Jetpack Compose
Build new functionality in the Jetpack Compose codebase and occasionally in the views (Android platform) codebase.
Work and iterate on API design with input from the team & community.
Develop and maintain Android applications using Jetpack Compose and Kotlin
Experience with Coroutines, Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM)
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with Android development, including continuous integration, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines and creating automated UI tests.
Experience with continuous integration.
Translating product requirements into suitable user interfaces
Contribute to the definition, development, integration, test, documentation, and support of custom UI components
Ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
Proven experience in API development and integration, preferably with RESTful and SOAP APIs.
Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Experience developing software within a regulated environment in the medical industry.
Ability to interpret and apply regulations and standards relevant to medical devices.
Effective communicator and team player, with excellent organizational and collaboration skills.
