As a **Armed Security Shift Supervisor** in **San Jose, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more . As an Armed Officer, you will be responsible for monitoring and overseeing designated areas within a government location. Your role involves conducting routine checks and maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will be equipped with a sidearm, baton, and pepper spray, and will be expected to handle these responsibly. Additionally, you will provide excellent customer service and clear communication to all individuals you encounter. This position requires a valid driver's license and a minimum of six months of security experience. Our team values agility, reliability, and innovation, always prioritizing people and integrity. **Position Type: Full Time** **Pay Rate: $26.23 / Hour** **Job Schedule:** **Day** **Time** Mon03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Fri03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sat03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sun03:00 PM - 11:00 PM **Responsibilities:** + Provide customer service by implementing procedures and site-specific policies, and engage in emergency response activities when necessary. + Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm and problem-solving approach. + Conduct regular and random checks around the location and its perimeter, adapting to varying environments and conditions. **Minimum Requirements:** + .40 caliber firearm permit + Applicants must acknowledge and comply with firearms regulations and policies. + Applicants must demonstrate knowledge in firearms care and maintenance. + Possession of a valid driver's license in the state of employment is required. + Applicants must have at least 6 months of security experience. + Applicants must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. + Participate in industry-specific security training programs. + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. + A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. **Perks and Benefits:** + Health insurance and 401k plans for full-time positions + Schedules that fit with your personal life goals + Ongoing paid training programs and career growth opportunities + Employee discounts through our perks program to your favorite restaurants, entertainment venues, and much more...
