Key Responsibilities
- Beverage Preparation:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, specialty coffees, and teas
- Operate, clean, and maintain all coffee equipment, including espresso machines and grinders
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workspace at the coffee bar and dessert station, including mugs, plates, and inventory.
- Dessert Plating & Presentation:
- Plate and finish desserts with precision and consistency, adding garnishes like whipped cream, sauces, or glazes
- Ensure all display desserts are merchandised attractively in the bakery case or serving area.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines during preparation and plating.
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hospitality, or barista role is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly in presentation and following recipes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; a friendly, positive, and professional attitude is essential.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining composure and quality standards.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Passion for coffee, food, and providing exceptional customer service.
