We’re Hiring: Dance Instructors (with Path to Dance Director)
Walkers Gymnastics & Dance – Lowell, MA
Pay: $20–$35/hour (based on experience)

Walkers Gymnastics & Dance is expanding our dance program, and we’re looking for passionate, reliable, and skilled Dance Instructors who also have the potential to step into a Dance Director role as our program grows.

What You’ll Do

• Teach high-quality dance classes (ballet, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, tap — any combination welcome)
• Create lesson plans and progressions appropriate to each level
• Support a positive, encouraging studio environment
• Communicate effectively with students and families
• Collaborate with the leadership team on studio needs and events
• (For Director-track candidates) Assist in curriculum development, coach training, recital planning, and overall program leadership

What We’re Looking For

• Experience teaching dance to children and teens
• Strong technique in at least one core style (more is a plus)
• Professional, organized, and dependable
• Positive energy and a passion for helping students grow
• Ability to lead and eventually oversee a structured dance program
• Prior choreography or recital experience is a bonus
