**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Helicopter Flight Instructor to join our flying school team. As a Helicopter Flight Instructor at 49 North Helicopters, you will play a crucial role in training the next generation of helicopter pilots. Your expertise and guidance will shape the future of aviation while enjoying the beauty of Campbell River's natural surroundings.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide flight instruction to aspiring helicopter pilots, ensuring the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Develop and execute comprehensive flight training programs, including ground instruction and practical flight sessions.
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback to facilitate skill development and proficiency.
- Tailor instructional approaches to meet the individual needs and learning styles of students.
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment, promoting open communication and knowledge sharing among students and staff.
- Collaborate with the training team to continually improve curriculum, training materials, and teaching methodologies.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and flight hours in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
**Qualifications:**
- Hold a valid Transport Canada Class 3 Helicopter Flight Instructor Rating.
- Fluent English language proficiency, both written and verbal.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and effectively.
- Passion for aviation and a strong commitment to safety.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability to changing circumstances.
- Prior flight instruction experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Willingness to contribute to a collaborative team environment.
