Jovie Bellevue, WA, USA Summary: A bit about us : We’re a creative and easygoing family seeking a warm, engaging nanny to care for our curious and active baby (currently 9 months old). We’d love someone who enjoys getting outside, bringing playful and calm energy to the day, and creating meaningful moments through simple activities. We’re a laid-back household with two friendly cats and value a nanny who will nurture our child’s interests and milestones in a loving, attentive way. Our ideal start date is late July/early August, and we hope to find someone who will grow with our family for at least a year, if not longer.
A bit about you : You’re a playful, calm, and artistic caregiver who loves to encourage exploration and joy in little ones. You’re comfortable creating a balanced day of outdoor walks, sensory play, and indoor activities, and you appreciate the value of slowing down to meet a baby where they are developmentally. You’re proactive about tidying up after play and meals and enjoy preparing simple snacks and lunches. A safe, reliable vehicle is important to us as we’d love for you to eventually take our little one to occasional classes or activities.
Job Duties : Your day will center around providing nurturing, stimulating care that supports our baby’s growth and exploration. You’ll plan walks or age-appropriate outings, facilitate naps, prepare simple lunches and snacks, and clean up play spaces and meal areas at the end of your shift. Light household tasks include tidying up toys, washing bottles, and after-meal clean up as needed. Location: Mercer Island, WA, 98040
Position Highlights : Guaranteed hours, Accrued sick pay (1 hour per 20 hours worked), PTO and vacation to be discussed with the right-fit candidate, Long-term role (minimum one year, likely longer.)
Qualifications : 2+ years of infant care experience. Safe and reliable vehicle for occasional outings. Covid-vaccination preferred. Glowing references from recent nanny positions.
Set yourself apart : A background in creative play, early childhood development, or the arts. Comfort engaging with active babies working toward new milestones like crawling and standing. A positive, easygoing personality that fits well with a fun, upbeat family dynamic.
Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 11:00 am – 4:00 pm (15 hours/week)
Pay: $32–38 per hour
