Job Description

Description Robert Half is currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing/Estimator to support our project teams and procurement operations. Estimating Duties: + Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates. + Solicit and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers. + Prepare and present accurate and timely project cost estimates. + Assist project managers and sales teams with pricing and budgeting strategies. Purchasing Duties: + Source, negotiate, and purchase materials, equipment, and services. + Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors. + Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of materials. + Track purchase orders and resolve discrepancies related to pricing, delivery, or quality. Requirements + Proven experience in estimating and purchasing + Strong understanding of cost analysis, bid evaluation, and procurement practices. + Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings. + Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office and estimating/purchasing software (e.g., Procore, Builder trend, Sage, etc.). + High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
