About the Role:
We are searching for a meticulous and seasoned Senior Accountant to play a pivotal role in safeguarding our financial integrity and enhancing operational excellence. You will maintain precise financial records, ensure GAAP compliance, and drive informed strategic decisions through accurate reporting and insightful analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and reconcile general ledger accounts and financial statements
• Prepare timely and accurate financial reports, including year-end closings
• File sales tax returns and oversee regulatory submissions
• Reconcile intercompany transactions with affiliated entities
• Partner with leadership to optimize workflows and bolster operations
• Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation, leveraging spreadsheets to extract and analyze key data
• Uphold accounting standards and robust internal controls
• Mentor team members on accounting matters and provide training
• Coordinate occasional office events to cultivate a vibrant workplace culture

Qualifications:

• Clean driving record, criminal background check, and professional references from prior employers
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, with active CPA certification
• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in small to mid-sized organizations
• Proven ability to independently manage a full-cycle accounting function
• In-depth knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles
• Advanced proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or equivalents)
• Superior analytical skills, attention to detail, and software proficiency
• Demonstrated capacity to juggle priorities and consistently meet deadlines
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
• Solid grasp of HR processes
