Job Description

Senior Information Technology Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Manager to lead our IT operations, infrastructure, and strategic technology initiatives at our manufacturing headquarters in Mesa, AZ. This role is responsible for overseeing IT teams, ensuring the security and efficiency of IT systems, and aligning technology solutions with business goals. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, expertise in IT governance, and experience managing enterprise-level IT environments.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Lead, mentor, and manage the IT team, including system administrators, network engineers, and help desk personnel fostering professional growth and performance.
• Implement IT strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Implement and enforce IT security policies and best practices.
• Advise and develop further organizational competency risk assessments and vulnerability management programs.
• Mange the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, networks, and systems.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and security of IT services.
• Manage and improve IT service delivery, incident response, and problem resolution.
• Aid in the development of training programs to promote cybersecurity awareness and technology adoption.
• Lead system upgrades, cloud migrations, and software deployments.
• Maintain data backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans.
• Conduct performance evaluations, set objectives, and provide guidance on career development.
• Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures to protect company data and systems.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
• Aid in the development and enforcement of IT policies and procedures to meet NIST/CMMC Compliance Framework obligations.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with IT vendors, suppliers, and service providers.
• Keep up with industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovations to improve IT services.
• Other functions as assigned

Competencies/Skills
• Strong working knowledge of security best practices for Microsoft Azure and other cloud technologies such as O365 and InTune. 
• Experience with Azure Active Directory, Conditional Access Policies, and third-party single sign-on technologies.
• Strong understanding of security concepts surrounding operating systems and applications 
• Experience with Microsoft technologies such as Active Directory, Group Policies, Certificate Services, IIS and Window Servers.
• Knowledge of IT industry standards, change management processes, and use of enterprise standards change control procedures 
• Ability to work independently, prioritize existing projects, and proactively determine areas requiring additional attention, monitoring, or maintenance.
• Proven background in providing excellent action oriented.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

 

Job Qualification
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 8+ years of IT management experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
Aerospace and Defense sector preferred but not required).
• Experience in highly regulated environments, such as defense contracting, is a plus
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and enterprise applications.
• Familiarity with IT frameworks such as ITIL, NIST, and CMMC
• Strong knowledge of IT systems, networks, firewalls and security protocols.
• Experience with cloud platforms, virtualization, and data management.
• Demonstrated leadership and project management skills with excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experienced implementing CMMC/NIST SP 800-171
• Must be able to pass an ATF background check

• PMP (Project Management Professional)
• CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
• ITIL Certification
