Description Shantel Poole with Robert half client is in the market for a Staff Accountant to join their team in the construction/contractor industry. In this role, you will handle a variety of tasks, such as managing accounts payable and receivable, conducting bank reconciliations, and maintaining the general ledger. Responsibilities: - Oversee the Accounts Payable (AP) to ensure accurate and timely payments - Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) to ensure all payments are received and properly recorded - Perform regular bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records - Maintain the General Ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date - Prepare and post journal entries as part of the month-end close process - Utilize software systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP in performing accounting duties.
