• Title: Warehouse Worker - Freezer
• Reports to: Warehouse manager
• Job Level: Union Position
• Location: Savage, Maryland (On-site)
  
• Work Hours: 12:00 PM ~ 8:30 PM (30-minute break included; overtime may be required based on workload)
• Hourly Salary: $22.95

This position is a union position. Union membership is required after the probationary period. Union dues may apply.

【Position Overview】
Manually move product or other materials and perform other unskilled general labor.

【Tasks】

• Read orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments
• Record numbers of units handled and moved
• Move product and other materials to and from storage areas, loading docks, and delivery vehicles by hand and special equipment
• Sort product before loading and unloading
• Other light maintenance duties

【Work Context】

• Lifting/Carrying up to about 50 lbs.
• Pushing/pulling more than 80 -100 lbs
• Operating machinery, including forklift, pallet jacket, etc.
• Coordination and communication with management and peers
• Requires written and oral communication in English
• Requires being exact or highly accurate
• Requires meeting strict deadlines
• Requires coordinating with others in accomplishing work activities
• Includes responsibility for work outcomes
• Requires working indoors in environmentally controlled conditions
• Required working for periods of up to 60 minutes is temperatures below 5 degrees
• Requires wearing special cold temperature protective gear
• Includes exposure to sounds and noise levels that are distracting or uncomfortable
• Requires standing for extended periods of time
• Requires repetitive movement, walking, bending, twisting, seeing, hearing, talking, manual dexterity and flexibility in fingers and hands
• Requires reaching with hands and arms
• Requires repeating the same physical and mental activities over and over
• Requires working until the daily work is finished (8 hours or more)
