Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our team in Golden, Colorado. In this contract position, you will play a key role in supporting financial operations and ensuring the accuracy of accounting records. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with experience in accounting systems, accounts payable, and accounts receivable who thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: - Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with precision and efficiency. - Perform bank reconciliations to ensure financial records are accurate and up to date. - Utilize accounting software systems, such as ERP and CaseWare, to manage financial data. - Assist in preparing and reviewing financial reports to support auditing processes. - Enter and organize data to maintain accurate and accessible financial records. - Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and improve financial workflows. - Manage expense reporting using tools like Concur, ensuring compliance with company policies. - Support payroll operations, including tasks involving ADP financial services. - Monitor and analyze financial transactions to identify errors or inconsistencies. - Contribute to the implementation and optimization of accounting processes and systems. Requirements - Proven experience with accounting software systems, including ERP and CaseWare. - Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. - Familiarity with auditing practices and bank reconciliation procedures. - Proficiency in data entry with a high level of accuracy. - Ability to work with tools like Concur for expense management. - Understanding of payroll systems such as ADP. - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. - Effective communication and collaboration skills to work within a team environment.
