As an Ocho Barista, you are the presence that brings our brand to life. You move with intention, steady, grounded, and aware. Every gesture—a word, a pour, a glance—is an opportunity to make someone’s day lighter, upholding our core value of Warmth .

This role is about Craftsmanship made invisible , caring for the details that others might overlook to honor the time and heart behind every cup. We don't rush meaning; we allow Rhythm to guide us.

What You Will Do

• Cultivate Warmth and Connection: Offer service that is sincere and quietly confident. Speak as if you are inviting someone in, believing every drink is a chance to bring someone closer.
• Embrace Craft: Prepare and serve all coffee, tea, and food items with meticulous, unhurried attention. Ensure the delivery of a premium experience that feels light, human, and effortless.
• Hold the Space: Maintain a cafe environment that aligns with our rhythm, a grounding space when customers need calm, and a bright space when they need lift.
• Uphold Our Standards: Ensure consistent attendance and punctuality. Meet operating policies for quality beverages, food products, cash handling, and store safety.
• Move with Balance: Fluidly perform various tasks across the store during your shift, allowing the work to breathe between effort and ease.

Summary of Experience and Qualifications
We look for sincere presence and a willingness to learn, believing that what we share is greater than what separates us.

• Experience : Previous barista experience required.
• Availability : Must be available to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Abilities :
• Ability to learn quickly and effectively follow both oral and written instructions.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a capacity for sincerity, warmth, and building genuine human connection.
• Ability to work as part of a team, moving with intention and a sense of shared belonging.
