Job Summary We are seeking a Business Office Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will support the Surgery Scheduler, Billing Specialist, Office Manager and others. The ideal candidate is empathetic, highly organized, and possesses excellent customer service skills. Responsibilities
Performs Insurance Verification for all patients
Checks patients account balances and informs patients of balances and collects outstanding amounts including co-pays and surgery deposits
Works on Office, CT- Scan and Surgery Pre-Authorizations
Enter charges
Surgery Scheduling
Works on Denial Reports
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
2 years experience in a clerical environment, preferably in a Healthcare environment.
Ability to read and understand a medical records chart
Knowledge of current ICD-10 and CPT codes
Highly organized with attention to detail
Comfortable with Microsoft Office and other computer programs
Ability to manage time, multitask and prioritize projects
