Description We are looking for a dedicated and resourceful Buyer to join our team in Springdale, Arkansas. This Contract-to-continuing position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to procurement operations, ensuring the acquisition of goods and services that meet quality, cost, and delivery objectives. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment and possess strong negotiation skills to build lasting vendor relationships and optimize purchasing strategies. Responsibilities: - Manage supplier relationships to ensure reliable service and high-quality products, while evaluating vendor performance on a regular basis. - Oversee purchasing processes, including reviewing requisitions, sourcing goods and services, and negotiating pricing and contract terms. - Conduct market research to identify trends and sourcing opportunities that support strategic procurement goals. - Collaborate with inventory and logistics teams to maintain optimal stock levels and streamline supply chain operations. - Draft, review, and manage purchase agreements to ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry regulations. - Analyze procurement budgets to identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining high standards of quality. - Prepare detailed procurement reports, providing insights into supplier performance, cost analysis, and other key metrics. - Work closely with internal departments such as finance, operations, and logistics to address procurement needs effectively. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. - 3-5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or a similar role. - Proven negotiation skills with a history of securing favorable contracts. - Proficiency in procurement software and tools such as ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite. - Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and best practices. - Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. - Exceptional communication and organizational skills. - Certification in procurement or supply chain management is a plus.
