Job Description
CLINICAL INFORMATIC ANALYST REQUIREMENTS - Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Health Informatics, or a related clinical field required.
- RN or other licensed clinical background strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in an inpatient setting.
- At least 1-2 years of experience working in clinical informatics or EHR optimization (Epic experience preferred).
- Strong understanding of clinical workflows, healthcare regulations, and patient safety practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Bonus skill: Epic Optime experience
CLINICAL INFORMATIC ANALYST RESPONSIBILITIES - Collaborate with clinical and IT teams to optimize workflows and documentation within the EHR system (primarily Epic).
- Analyze current inpatient clinical processes and recommend digital solutions to improve safety, efficiency, and compliance.
- Provide EHR training, go-live support, and ongoing education to clinical staff and leadership.
- Monitor data integrity, user satisfaction, and adoption rates, providing feedback to system analysts and leadership.
- Serve as a liaison between clinical end-users and technical teams to ensure system changes reflect clinical needs.
- Participate in testing, validation, and rollout of new system functionality or upgrades.
- Stay informed on clinical informatics best practices, compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA), and industry trends.
