Job Description

The Opportunity:  
 

HMG+, a leader in hospitality staffing, is happy to share with you an exciting new opportunity for a Hospitality Staffing Coordinator. As Hospitality Staffing Coordinator, with a self-starter attitude, you will help the processes involved in providing and organizing our event staffing department. A strong sense of drive and motivation is key in order to effectively fill client staffing needs and build business towards projected growth. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for hospitality, people, and a strong desire to grow and develop with a dynamic team of like-minded individuals.  
 

Responsibilities:  

  • Work directly with the Booking Team to fill staffing gaps on all events.  
  • Develop ideas for improved engagement and cooperation of employee database.  
  • Assist with our internal booking software and processes.  
  • Forecast future event requirements based on historical consistencies and anticipate staffing needs.  
  • Engage with and familiarize yourself with the employee database on a personal level for improved success.  
  • Maintain communication with clients, keeping them up to date on their event schedule and staffing requests.  
  • Implement ideas and solutions for improved employee engagement and retention.  
  • Backfill staff requests according to call outs or cancellations  
  • Ensure that all new hires have event offers in their availability calendars  
  • Send all staff confirmation emails to staff on a daily basis  
  • Send all client and Captain staff sheets on a daily basis  

Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, Associate's degree required .  
  • 1-2 years of staffing experience: hospitality industry preferred, medical, professional, and financial field experience will also be considered.  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  
  • 2+ years of experience in a hospitality-related field preferred.  
  • 2+ years of administrative experience preferred.

  • $65 , 000-$75 ,000 base salary + annual bonus structure.
