A dual-physician family recently relocated to Houston is looking for a warm, experienced nanny to join their family. They are seeking a nanny who will actively engage their young child in age-appropriate activities that support growth, development, and independence. The family embraces a Montessori-inspired approach, so a caregiver who encourages outdoor play and follows the child’s lead would be an ideal match. The child thrives with gentle, calm, and confident caregivers who allow her to set the tone. Candidates who are bilingual in English and Spanish and comfortable with direct communication are strongly encouraged to apply. The family has a pool, so candidates must know how to swim, and they also have a dog and cats, so pet-friendliness is a must. Household duties related to the child are expected, though no deep cleaning is required, as the family employs a housekeeper.
For the full-time role, the family requires candidates to have an educational background in early childhood education or experience creating a rich curriculum to support their child in reaching milestones and development. For the full-time role, the hours would be Mon-Fri from noon to 7p. The nanny would assist with household related tasks prior to the child returning from school. Flexibility is required on days when school is not in session, as the nanny will be needed for full-day care.
For the part-time role, the hours would be Monday-Friday any four hours between noon and 6p. Candidates are not required to have a formal early childhood background, but should have references that reflect they actively engaged the children in developmentally appropriate play and activities.
This position is available immediately, and the family is eager to welcome a nanny who will grow with them and be a valued part of their home.

Compensation:
• Guaranteed consistent pay 52 weeks per year while employed
• Paid major holidays
• Paid vacation
