Pharmaceutical Production Science Associate (Contract)

Location: Elkton, VA

Duration: 1-Year Contract

Overview:

We are hiring a Production Science Associate to support core vaccine and biologics manufacturing processes. This position offers recent life sciences graduates the opportunity to gain experience in one of the region’s most advanced pharmaceutical production environments.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with process documentation, data trending, and deviation analysis
• Support execution of production runs and collect in-process data
• Participate in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives
• Contribute to change control implementation and process optimization
• Interface with cross-functional teams to uphold batch quality and consistency
• Rotate through shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biology, Biotech, or related field
• Entry-level experience; internships/co-ops preferred
• Willingness to work on a rotating shift schedule
• Knowledge of sterile techniques and GMP documentation practices
• Must not have a Beta-Lactam allergy
